Public opinion of many of these things has not changed at all....that is bullshit. What has changed is the reaction to folks who disapprove of anything the progressives demand.

Like most opinion pieces that deal with it, this one operates from the incorrect assumption that racism is a problem on the right. 95% of the conservatives I know do not care about race at all and have no problem with any good person of any color.

Race is primarily a liberal obsession, who are more fixated on it and it's impact on every aspect of our society than any political group since WWII Germany.

Right. The article presumes that public opinion movement on two issues where even libertarians might agree doesn’t constitute moving “Left”.

...enthusiasm for Trump is bolstered by “white fragility”— an insecurity that white voices, once dominant, are now being drowned out by increasingly influential minority groups bolstered by demographic changes... successfully shifting opinion on issues like sexuality, gender, race, immigration and welfare. 

My concern is not "white fragility."

My concern is that the people who obsess on gender and sexual identity are not those who focus on saving today for retirement tomorrow, like I did.

The "progressive revolution's" focus on whites is really going to be a focus on the amassed savings of whites that tomorrow's progressive social justice warriors will see as a hoarded unfair share.

Progressive grasshoppers will be coming after the ants' savings, once they're done demonizing the ants to the rest of the SJW grasshoppers.
