Hubby makes a GREAT chicken tortilla soup in ours. I would never order such a soup in a restaurant, but I gotta say it’s delish!

It’s just a computerized pressure cooker. Start with beef stew (25-30 minutes). Then try pulled pork (pork shoulder with liquid smoke and maybe a bit of wine and BBQ sauce included with the liquid).

Had mine for almost a year. I’ve done soups, brown rice (LOTS of brown rice...), stews, made bone broth from chicken and turkey carcasses, chili, chicken, ground beef (from frozen, no less. Saved my a** big-time.)

It was a fantastic investment (got the 8-quart since I have 4 teenagers who like to eat). I’ve since come to find out they now make a 10-quart version, which I am considering.

I bought myself one back in November however I got the Crock Pot 8qt version with all the same features as the Instant Pot (so it also sautés/browns, steams, slow cooks, etc.). So far I’ve cooked a whole chicken with lemon and rotisserie spices, boneless chicken breasts (and also steamed broccoli after the chicken was done), chicken matzo ball soup, pot roast, turkey chili and beef stew. Love it.

Butter Chicken in Instant Pot is absolutely da bomb.

I was just going to post that! I also really like the beef stew I can make with it. It's like I took all day to make it in the slow cooker!
