Deputy director McCabe: fired and under criminal investigation for lying to investigators.
This whole Strzok/Page affair, both the affair itself and it’s impact on how the Clinton email investigation wrapped up and the murky collusion angle got kicked off: both actors in the affair are out of the agency. the IG report indicated lots of questions that need more answers, and there is still no clear accounting for the recklessly dangerous actions of two senior FBI officials who were endangering national security by carrying out an affair and blabbing about their political biases on work phones.
FBI HQ needs a modern day Church commission.

To which I say, I’ll take that package deal. We don’t need a Federal law enforcement entity beyond the Marshall service. The most prominent activity of the FBI, other than election meddling, is entrapping the stupid into terrorist conspiracies and either busting them for publicity, or letting them play out with deadly consequences, at their whim.
I couldn’t agree more. To those of us that understand the disordered mind of an extreme narcissist, the implications of these people being in charge of anything is frightening.
