Awesome. Thanks.
Mine used to say same thing. It's illogical to think you are wrong and not change your opinion.
The new information is correct.
Suspected as much. The doctor with them was an anesthesiologist. That’s likely the real reason their parents weren’t allowed to see them for 24-48 hours.
On my wedding day my Father pulled me aside and said: "Son, from now on, just forget any mistakes you make...no need for two people to remember them"
“Suspected as much. The doctor with them was an anesthesiologist. “
Also my first thought.
That said, how many ‘experienced’ rescue dave divers are out there?
To find one that is a physician, great, don’t quibble about his medical specialty. Yes, some would only allow female, LBXYZ...
The cave divers who went back for their friends:

Note the English diver is in this event also.
A documentary on the unfortunate event in Finland.
“Diving into the Unknown” is widely available from video services, I ordered the disk ($7).
Linux and VLC don’t care a bit about “Zone 2”!
I read some spaces were no larger than a school ruler. Pretty treacherous stuff considering a navy seal died bringing oxygen tanks. The fact that they got them out an were able to do so safely is incredible. No matter how they did it.
Amen
I am a Retired MD, spelunker as a teenager in New Mexico, and NAUI Divemaster 20 years ago. The answer was pretty obvious from the beginning. You cant take a kid some 20 feet under water 100 feet or so of overhead obstruction and risk them panicking and losing their regulator or facemask. You pretty much have to intubate them and duct tape the regulator to their head while they are too sedated to move. Put some ophthalmic grease in their eyes and tape them shut and go for it.
Yeah. Who wants to be awake for major surgery? lol. Just put me under and may I please wake up when it’s all over. lol. The fact that they were able to sedate them was a benefit to these children and the team that rescued them. It could have put everyone at risk otherwise.
I have always found how smart people think you are if you don’t tell them of your mistakes.
Smart move, esp since they could not swim.
I am thinking Ketamine. Benzos are too fat soluble and benzos under an extra atmosphere of pressure may act weird.
I’m glad they took my suggestion.
That'll be two nights in the spare bedroom.
Another reason they moved the msm out and put up tents. Good on the Thailand government for that. The US msm would have thrown fits and none would have been saved.
12 inches...WOW!
Wow, this is fascinating. So glad they are safe.
The kids were were drugged so they wouldn’t panic.
