Remember kids, there are really only 2 possible outcomes here: Kavanaugh is a centrist, replacing a centrist... or he is an eeeeevil right-winger.

Before Kennedy retired, the court was 4/2/3 (L-to-R). So, either it remains 4/2/3, if he is a centrist... or it becomes 4/1/4... perfectly balanced.

Got that? Either no change at all, or at "worst", both sides have exactly equal input... and the Left is losing their collective hive-mind over those two outcomes.
