Yes, mobs morph over time in appearance but underneath it’s still a mob. Unrecognizable to those that are in it but clearly a mob for those on the outside. We do seem to be entering a new mob phase with social media.

I disagree. The root of everything that went on started with the Trump shirt. People have died over mobs created by such an innocent action such as putting on a t-shirt, not realizing that this could be construed as a mortal slight.

This reads like NPR reported it. She’s not the victim. Imagine that a Mother Bear who drove the kids there had been observing this and put this women on the ground with one punch. This kind of behavior is going to earn a violent or fatal response sooner or later.
