Diced Blue Grouse breast with diced spuds and onions fried in a little bacon grease goes pretty good with coffee in a high morning camp too.
I just hope this fire ain’t burning up my area.

She points out that the giraffe she killed was 18, too old to breed, and had killed three younger bulls who were able to breed, causing the herds population to decrease. Now, with the older giraffe dead, the younger bulls are able to continue to breed and can increase the population
Wildlife management.
If she paid for it, good deal....

They're not endangered, she's helping the local economy, and it's good game management.
Not a fan of trophy hunting? Don't do it. Problem solved.

She hosted a big BBQ for locals and kept the hide. I’m jealous.

The fires hurt and if it stays dry winter feed isnt there. Sorry to see the situation. Four of the biggest bulls I ever seen were together late after the rut about 8 miles north west of Maybell. Stay safe.

I did say something about what you posted, but not just to you. It’s a public comment thingie.
This was a cull, and for meat. Perhaps you wandered off topic? Every trophy hunter I know always harvests the meat. They also admire the animals they hunt.
Perhaps it’s a strawman you hunt. Because you make little sense in context with the subject of the thread. Oh. And the potty mouth thing is a bit over the top.

I understand bear is pretty good if you harvest early in the season while the are still on grass. Heard it becomes awful later in the season.

Sorry. No season for antelope when we have green grass and no spring season. Wolves are a pain too. Shoot and release is an idea. Kind of like trophy trout.

Wild animals are not the docile beings you see in cartoons. Large herbivorous mammals won’t seek you out to kill you as long as you keep your distance, but they are territorial, and will inflict fatal injuries if a human gets too close.

No, I have only had venison and pig.
I’d try elk and bear, but I understand bear meat can have some nasty parasites in it, so I’d be a little worried about that.

The government does not generally allow the locals to own firearms. Plus, ammo might be an issue, along with poaching.

It takes a lot of skill to take a shot at hit a 4000 pound docile animal that is standing still. It is difficult for me to see how a 4000 lb animal that has a lifetime accomplishment record of killing 3 other 4000 lb animals can be described as "docile".

Wow, she’s nailed some little two-tailed dog and a blue-balled monkey too!
