She does fit the progressive profile though. Average (or less) in every way.

Her only “crime” was being exposed.
Her exposure just adds to the belief that journalism is not about informing the public but advancing a progressive agenda.
She has become a (willing) victim for the cause. It will be interesting to find out who hires her if let go from the NY Times.
