As several others have said: “Will left the Republican Party years ago.” I’m guessing it was during Ronald Reagan’s presidency.
Will is an atheist.
Now that he is old and soon will be departing this earth, he is faced with serious mental choices, and he can’t handle them.
Expect to read about him doing himself in one day, like the screwy cooking show moron.
George Will leaving the party is the best news in some time now.

Old news. He formally resigned from the party in 2016. Unlike most of the other comments I don’t hold it against him. It was an honest act carried out in obedience to his beliefs and conscience. I am still waiting for the others who share his political beliefs to do the honorable thing and move on.
George Will has become irrelevant over the past decade or so. I haven’t heard nor seen the dude in a long time.

Thank God he’s gone - we should have a party...
A lot of us have gone away form the Leftist Light GOP, but that doesn’t mean we fight for corrupt establishment status quo or even gone over to the other side as George Will seems to have.
The economy soaring , taxes cut, and the Orioles in the cellar...no wonder he’s so cranky.
