A 7 point quake in the wrong place would devastate the Bay Area. Beside structural destruction, utility damage would be massive. Best to to have camping equipment up to date. Buy a few cases of chili beans, canned corn, canned tomatoes, rice and cases of water. Plus have propane tanks filled. Might want a bag of lye for the poop pit. You forgot guns, ammo, and whiskey (or whisky).

Could be..lol...I'm not saying what I would do, but I can assure I wouldn't follow the crowd east into the desert. In fact they're already doing that right now for a lot of folks due to the outrageous prices/taxes and expenses in CA., and I see it as pretty much intentional, being pushed by the leftist running CA.
The CA leftist want a society of liberal wealthy and their low wage Hispanic servants. Period! There is no room in their agendas for Middle class Americans in CA. They want them out. Some of these government criminals have even publicly admitted it.

Sunday night San Fran news stated that a poll of current Bay Area residents found that over 46% of them are planning on leaving that area within a very few years if not right zway.
High home prices & traffic woes named, but the condition of living where homeless people crap onto the sidewalks has to also have been a factor.
One coouple is going to Idaho & “Won’t tell anyone where so they can have the place to themselves’ & more won’t follow them.

The Big One could leave 250,000-400,000 quake refugees in California. Where will they go? The most rational answer is obvious.
But I plead the Fifth, where it involves any population within 50 miles from the Pacific Coast..

In LA, I'm sure all their fellow leftist movie stars would be glad to open their estates and mansions to 500 or so each for a few years.

A friend and I were discussing this today....she lives on the Monterrey Peninsula and thinks she's 'safe' there.

6.0 30 min ago near Guadalajara/San Patricio on the Mexican coast.
Last 24 hrs quake trends have shifted to run along the SoCA San Andreas fault, just parallel and offset the fault by about 5miles.
Stay safe.
