In the video? OK, a boyfriend driver going after a woman shooter who was running away from the boyfriend? The boyfriend would probably be in trouble, because it's not his job to play cop and go after anyone not immediately threatening. Then again, if ya get the right jury, the sympathy could also go to the BF due to the fact the lunatic female shooter appeared to be running right at a building, possibly occupied building/apartment and in fact the BF could have very well saved the day. Mass shooting/hostages etc.
Then again, one would also have to know the circumstances leading up to the shooting. Was the BF beating her and she was simply defending herself? Was he holding her hostage and she got away with his gun, so he used the vehicle on her?
A revered roll scenario you asked about could have endless circumstances/scenarios. You understand.
Yep. And not just a fleeing felon. That felon had a gun and appeared to be shooting at the cops as she was running and the shooter was running right towards a school or group of buildings if I recall.
Reversed role too!
lol..
Looked to me more like the suspect ran into the car instead of the other way around. This is supported by the fact that the suspect was lying in the street, not on the sidewalk.
I vote that the cop gets his job back. And a bunch of compensation for wrongful termination.
Lots of problems with the police/sheriffs in Georgia. Either the cops are being punished for going after the criminals in an aggressive pursuit, or they are being killed by wackos in domestic disputes.
I detect a serious lack of leadership at the top of many police/sheriff’s department in the rotten Peach State.
The Cop is screwed. After examining the video, at about 00:25 the cop clearly steers into the suspect at the last second prior to impact.
Clean hit is right. At 00:25 the cop intentionally steers into the suspect just prior to impact.
After reviewing the video I very much agree.
The part I like is when the cop drives his damaged car over to where he’s going to give initial statements to a supervisor but the only problem is, he left his bodycam/audio on the whole time. During the interview that became part of the investigation. And he basically lied right there.
Yes, I understand. The question has been asked before. In part, it was an attempt to put a little dry humor and more questions into the mix. Thanks. The best plan is sobriety, serenity and keeping the ladies safely above our wheels. [Little allusion to a maniacal, old Alice Cooper song there.]
I must explain, I was referring to a video posted at #10, not this report.
