Like I said to in a post on an earlier article on the release of the hostages.
We know that at a minimum Kim got a public photo op shaking hands with the U.S. Secretary of State. It may not seem like a very big thing to the American public, but it is huge in North Korea and will be showcased greatly as propaganda to the sheeple of North Korea - “look at how great our leader is, how high officials of the U.S. had to come kowtow to him to get their spies back”. Yes, that was a big something, in North Korean terms that Kim got.
What else he got or was promised will take time to learn and it will only come after the summit negotiations are completed and any concessions we make are considered.
