Yep, I remember getting an ad in the mail several years ago from J.C. Penneys saying all ladies underware would be half off the next Saturday. I got there jus as the store opened and I hung around the store all day and did not see even one lady with her undies anywhere near half off.

I've been around academe for almost 40 years now and I've learned that anyone who self-labels as an intellectual isn't. That is a title that is rightly bestowed upon a person by others.

Walking through the tampa airport on Monday, I crossed paths with a woman in a black tshirt on which “The future is female” was written in bold white letters.
She stared at me as we passed, me a white male in business attire. I smiled and said “make me a sandwich”.
She didn’t respond, but was clearly shocked.
