A few days ago I saw a hawk in attack mode hit some tall grass on the side of the road. A groundhog shot out of the grass onto the road and did a 180 back into the grass away from the hawk. Hawk flew off disappointed.
The deputy must’ve heard about the Jimmy Carter rabbit attack.

The groundhog was just beginning to turn his life around, and hoped to enroll in art school.
