You are wrong. There has been no diagnosis. That is what Alfie's father has complained about. That is why they took him to the hospital in the first place. The doctors do not know what is causing his problem, therefore they should admit their inability to diagnose the problem and let the parents take him to someone who CAN tell them what the problem is.

You would prefer that Alfie just be dispatched without a true diagnosis? I find that truly disgusting.

Parents knew long while back anti-seizure meds were not working which several variations of drugs were used to in hopes of stopping them.....nor going to work. It’s all in the medical reports
This isn’t about giving up treatment.....there is nothing that will recover his brain matter which is extensive. There’s nothing there to recover with.

All the doctors have come to the conclusion that Alfie is
suffering from a ‘neurodegenerative disorder’... Nobody knows what triggered or caused this devastating erosion of Alfie’s brain, there is no diagnosis and there may
never be.... The fact remains however that all agreed the degeneration is both catastrophic and untreatable.

And lets recall that on December 14 ‘2016’ Alfie was admitted to Emergency with ‘a history’ of coughing, high temperature and a reported episode of rhythmic jerking of all four limbs and his jaw. (Seizure)Others followed...

I understand the fathers concern....but he also does understand , (if you read the reports and court documentation), what the Dr.s have explained to him and the questions he has.

There are many other Brain diseases that the cause in not known....Dementia, Alzheimer’s etc. etc.and various types of seizures. So not knowing 'the cause' is not new nor should it be criticized. He has been 'diagnosed ' with a brain' disease....I don't understand at all why some cannot grasp this situation.

Then explain why you think the hospital is right.

Well you can continue to deny the medical evidence and the teams of ‘many’ Dr.s who have clearly stated the obvious through mri”s and various other neurological testing and reflex maneuvers etc. etc.et. since 2016 til now. I don't.

It’s not a matter of thinking who is right......it’s all the medical reports, obvious evidence and assessments both of the hospital and

Additionally going back to when he was first suspected with issues and thereafter admitted for tests etc. on and on and on..he was in trouble very early on just weeks after he was born...

I’m not denying that Alfie is seriously cognitively disabled, and will almost certainly die because of this. The appropriate response to this situation is to offer him the best care possible, not to murder him.

Nobody is murdering this young fellow....or attempting to do so. Even religious leaders are acknowledging that is not the case and wrong to consider so. And he is getting the best care possible and has been all along.

The child has lost 70% of his brain, has been hospitalised for 18 months and numerous doctors around the world have agreed there is no cure..... Italy are NOT offering a cure, just the PALLIATIVE care he is already getting.

Every doctor, British, Italian, German, all agree there is no cure. The courts don’t want to move him so he can at least pass with dignity, rather than traveling unnecessarily to receive the ‘same’ care.

What is killing Alfie is a degenerative brain disease that has eaten away all the parts necessary for survival. Tragic, sad and not reversable.

There is ‘no way’ to regrow the brain he has lost,... no way to reverse the damage. No one is “murdering” him. He was born with a terrible condition which unfortunately cannot be reversed. He has been severely ill since just 6 weeks old.
