Her surgery was supposed to be routine. Instead, this Russian woman was ‘embalmed alive.’

Maybe that's what happened in Syria: The Febreze and chlorine gas were right next to each other. Whoopsie.

Read somewhere that this is possibly one of the most horrible ways to die by chemicals.

At least she was under anaesthetic. I hope.

"instead of administering saline solution, medical personnel mistakenly gave Fedyaeva formalin, a solution that contains formaldehyde which is used to preserve dead bodies."
A very common mistake, with the two being stored right next to each other and all. Sure.
Or it fits in with their national poisoning M.O.

I always wondered why they stored the two right next to each other in the same size and shape bottle. The saline has a green and white label, while the formalin has a white and green label. I accidentally embalmed my grandmother with saline one time.

That was my first thought.
The must be doing embalming in the same surgical suite as surgery.
Wow!

The must be doing embalming in the same surgical suite as surgery. Yes. I wonder if the OR nurses knew.

That hospital has someone very evil on their staff who wanted her dead. Others had to agree to cooperate, by refusing to quickly rescue her. Why? we will never know for sure.
She was a very attractive woman with lots of joy. If this was murder, it may be related to her beauty. To say this was purely an accident, is in my opinion ‘un-possible’!

This is the future of healthcare in the U.S. When government is in charge of whether you live or die it becomes a matter of economics. If its cheaper to kill you than treat you then your number is up. Unless your a politician or Hollywood leftie.

Formaldehyde could be present in a OR where biopsies were being done. It would be used to preserve the specimens for pathology. How you would mix it up with saline I have no idea. There should be a lot of saline and very little formaldehyde in reach....

Fedyaeva was advised that she needed a routine laparoscopic procedure to remove the cysts, relatives said, so she underwent surgery last month at a hospital in Ulyanovsk Ulyanovsk?
Here is a photo of the city's namesake, Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, who has experienced embalmment since 1924:
