I am assuming a couple of things in this rant:
1. There are OVER 100 MILLION LEGAL gun owners in the USA right now.
2. There have been fewer than 100 person who have done a mass shooting in the USA in the past XXX years.
Therefore, by taking away the guns, we are going after 1 million times the number of people who legally own a gun that going after the mental issues in 100 people who caused these events.
The Florida even is even more disturbing because the kid—CRUZ—had openly displayed very nasty behavior for YEARS & his actions were ignored.
Now-—a group of 16-17-18 year old CHILDREN whose brains HAVE NOT YET FULLY FORMED (Thanks, Dr Phil), are trying to take guns away from persons who have never exhibited any propensity for trouble.
This is so wrong on so many fronts, I cannot stand to listen to one more of the little snowflakes any further.
IF they think they can take away the guns from those of us who have never been a problem-—Have at it. Pack your lunch- You won’t accomplish this easily. WE WILL RESIST!!
Meanwhile-—they are silent on people who are driving-—who don’t deserve to have a license, and they are NOT talking about banning autos.
Angry because some of your friends got hurt or killed. I do get tht. But you are attacking the wrong segment of the population on this issue. Go after those who are loose in the community who belong inside a mental hospital.
Needs to be a bumper sticker.
The problem is gun control laws inhibit the freedom of law-abiding people to defend themselves.
They have zero impact on bad guys; if you are determined to commit mass murder, no law will keep you from committing the crime.
Rank and file cops know this. Which is why gun control laws are an exercise in futility.
Amen, you hit nail on the head! Celebrities are all about money/fame.
And if any of these Young Hogg’s were offered the chance, they would exchange their signs for guns, to be in a movie! Wonder how many people Hogg has killed in video games?
HYPOCRITE is the right word~
