It’s epidemic with women under 50, there are very, very few actual conservative women who value marriage over money under that age, not in the United States. Maybe that’s what your problem is, you’re a relic of the past. Not so elderly as to have completely avoided the presumptuous bossy mouth of feminism though, so I’d guess your’e in your 60’s. And bragging about your sex life, lol. Are you for real?

I was divorced after 27 years of marriage and shattered by it.
Perhaps I would have ended up forever against marriage and even women in general. It didn’t happen. Instead, I met a gal about my age who had been divorced after a 21 year marriage who had no intention of ever starting a relationship again.
We feel madly in love, got married a year later, have had a wonderful 20 years together and have ten grandkids we spoil and a wonderful modest retirement.
God can do wondrous things.

They always come stomping onto these threads like a cow in a china shop and don’t have a clue that they sound exactly like what we’re talking about, thus reinforcing the negative attitudes that they think they’re going to shut down. You can’t really blame them. They’re using tactic only slightly modified from what they learned in elementary school.

I guess they still have enough pansies that they can fool that they don’t need to re-think their game plan. But to hear them bitch, after all they’ve done to wreck this country, is just SICKENING.
It used to be that women had a harder time divorce-raping the guy. If she was unhaaapy, she could walk out without his assets. This meant that fewer women tried the divorce route.
Funny you should mention that. One of the big shockers I got out of Warren Farrell’s “The Myth of Male Power” was that until the writing of his book there were ZERO recorded incidences in this country of a woman killing her “abusive” husband without an insurance policy, illicit lover, or other financial support alternative.
Were they prosecuted?

I think even young folks know innately what’s best despite all the turmoil but it sure seems to depend on their upbringing
Both my daughters like automony to a degree in their marriage or relationship respectively but both will admit in late 20s having education or skills is great but they are quite happy making a family and being mom or domestic for now
Or a job that works around marriage and child rearing part time
They prefer to have a man make the money and they care for the wee one
You can’t replace being a mom there for your pre schooler or home when they get off the school bus
My wife nearly always makes sure she’s home when our kids have gotten off the bus at the end of our long 400 yard drive or taken them down to the road on cold mornings
I’m old now but when younger in Manhattan or Los Angeles etc I’d find myself attracting fembot women including even activist Jewish women who even though repelled by a southern alpha male couldn’t resist something instinctive about unapologetic masculinity

The old paradigms worked for 1000s of years not because of male oppression but it was the natural consequence
