Don’t know. It’s amazing that as much as this is known about Crazy Horse. If she did, it could have been believed that it was No Water’s, or a mutually agreed pretense was maintained, assuming there was any child at all.

Well, the final Sioux War was the Ghost Dance War in 1890. My mother was born only 21 years later. There is a great deal of oral history. When I was a boy in the 1950s there were still old men who claimed to have been at Little Big Horn, 74 years earlier. It’s possible, I suppose.
Crazy Horse was sort of a mystic, almost a messiah to some of the Sioux. Even now there are people who claim to believe he will return and lead the Sioux to victory over the whites. Not very many, perhaps, but still. He’s an important figure.

You are speaking of Judaism. Jews are also a race, with distinct genetic markers. One need only to peruse Twitter to see them explicitly point out that they are not, or at least don’t consider themselves to be ‘white’. At least when it suits them.
He’s remembered for wiping out American cavalry, not boinking Black Buffalo. Boinking Black Buffalo did not make him famous. Destroying Custer’s command did, and then somebody remembered Black Buffalo as another thing that he did, but the facts are not as celebrated, and have been obscured by time.
That there are genetic whosawhatsits is true, but not very relevant. A convert is Jewish, whether he’s white, black, or purple with polka dots, because a rabbinical court accepts him as Jewish after testing his sincerity and knowledge, and after initially discouraging him, and because he has gone through the ceremony of conversion, including circumcision, and is committed to practicing the religion of Judaism as that is delineated in the Torah.
The Khazars were not genetic Jews. Neither was professor Abraham Kotsuchi, the first Japanese convert. Neither was Rabbi Akiva, the son of a convert and one of the great teachers and saintly figures in the Talmud. But they were Jews all the same. Sooner or later, their descendants mix with the Jewish gene pool and become genetic Jews as well.
You can LARP as one, but you’ll never be Jewish. They still won’t let you immigrate to Israel.
I know several converts to Judaism who immigrated to Israel. One, a famous doctor from India, had to undergo conversion all over again, because the Ministry of the Interior didn’t recognize the rabbinical court who did his first conversion. He also had to remarry his wife. But in the end, he was accepted as an oleh chadash (new immigrant) together with his entire family, who also had to convert twice.
I am not surprised that Chuck u Schumer is a racist.

Israel has a normal immigration process like any Western country in addition to streamlined immigration for Jews.
