True, it takes three. Much like serial killer, it is also three or more. Difference is Mass murder is all at one time/same place, and Serial is three, with same MO, different places.

Perhaps CMU was not the right "school" for him, and he was over-taxed emotionally?

I've read that MIT doesn't grade students the first two years, but simply has pass/fail to reduce the stress.

Maybe CMU should examine its own stress factors?

Important question. This is Black History Month. But seeing as he just wanted to off his parents, this doesn’t even qualify as a mass shooting. Hope saying this doesn’t make me a racist.

It’s all because his father had a gun. Watch what hay they’ll make of that.

There was a case in 2002 of a black mass killer at Appalachian School of Law. He killed 3 people, one of them a teacher (or fellow student?) who had helped him financially.

There is Peter Odighizuwa who murdered 3 people at his law school in 2002 in Grundy, Virginia.

He is an American citizen born in Nigeria, and the school and at least one of his victims and the town had helped him financially and otherwise.

Don’t you have to be 21 to have a handgun? Oh, you mean he broke that law as well as the one that was written making murder illegal....twice.

You raise an excellent point there. Obviously we don’t have enough laws. If there were ten laws against what he did, he would have thought twice and probably decided wisely against the course of action he took.

More laws! That’s the answer (especially if you are in Congress).
