It was rare to have met a native Coloradan. Saturday mornings, my roommate and I used to strap on Browning HiPowers and Ruger Blackhawks, stop by the local diner on the way to the range, and chat with the local cops about their issued Smith and Wesson wheel guns. CO was a great state back then before Hickenpoofer and the rest polluted CO politics.

Ya. Bad and getting worse. We are overrun by California liberals. Used to make lots of trips to the mountains but not anymore. Don't want to be stuck in traffic for two hours coming back. And the urban sprawl.

The neighborhood where I grew up is completely unaffordable now. Million dollar homes. Not that I'd want to live there because of the politics. Rich liberals are annoying to be around.

We are hanging on until our son graduates.
