A guy I knew OD’d. The funeral home had a no embalming deal that was pretty cheap. His mom insisted on open casket. He died face down and the blood collected in his face. My friend who was at the funeral said it was pretty rough.
These addicts have no idea the human cost to others beside themselves.
Where does the Bible mention cremation being unthinkable?
Many parents and probably grandparents are housing their recovering sons and daughters - and are being forced to move their guns off-site to satisfy probation and parole requirements.

I’m a Probation/Parole officer. What you’ve described is a violation of the Constitutional rights of anyone in the household with no felony record. Ive never required that and it is not in our State’s policy. I can only ask that the felon not have it in their room, in a common area (living room, kitchen...) or in their “possesion.” I would challenge any ofc who told me to store my firearms off site just bc there was a felon on my property.
The 2nd is a Constitutional right, and a human right, not something mere policy or preference can waive of a citizen with full rights.
I am finding hard to believe that these folks can afford to pay for enough opioids to overdose on them!!! I can see overdosing on bad heroine but opioids on the street are NOT cheap and I would assume it would take quite a few to overdose on them!!! Am I wrong about the amount it would take to overdose on them????
He’s not even a felon. Just a cluster of DUIs. This is S Central PA, btw. I think its called a “home plan.”
But the way it seems: People with guns come to your house and tell you can’t have guns while someone they are supervising is living there.
I did express some disgust, but conveyed as more inconvenience - and less political expression. I didn’t exactly challenge them. But they seemed pretty emphatic.
In my case - I only have few older rifles that came from my great grandfather/grandfather. Only one or 2 of these could be considered serviceable. Not a huge problem to stow them somewhere else. Bench rest stuff - not exactly handy for self defense.
I feel worse for some friends who will soon face similar restrictions - but they have carry permits, hunt a lot, shoot, etc...for them it will be a bigger intrusion and sacrifice to their daily feeling of well-being.
Many places now require tests to be done and samples to be kept prior to cremation.
You are right. The Bible says ‘dust to dust and ashes to ashes’.... Never understood the opposition from some denominations, because as a Christian; I think it is a choice. I know some who will be cremated.
