He told Sacramento County Sheriffs deputies he may have suffered a head injury while skiing.
Filippidis remembers being in a big rig-style truck and sleeping for much of the ride, sheriff spokesman Sgt. Shaun Hampton told the Post-Standard. When he was dropped off in downtown Sacramento, the sergeant said Filippidis got a haircut.
That’s one heck of a fraternity prank!

He may have hit his head skiing, although how he got off the mountain remains a mystery.
Going to Whiteface for an annual round up in 2 weeks. It’s a challenging mountain. Because it’s the tallest rock for the weather to hit east of the Rockies it gets icy. I started skiing Whiteface in 1974. There were no bars on the mountain and 6'12" NY State Troopers all around to confiscate any alcohol they saw.
That's when ski pole flasks came into fashion. LMAO!
