OK...I need a little updating here; I’ve been in and out of the hospital for the last few weeks and I’m afraid I got out of the loop about this “Q” thing. Can anyone tell me who, or what “Q” is and why it’s suddenly so newsworthy on FR?
Others have gone through this cycle with Q before - dramatic predictions that don’t pan out - followed by more dramatic predictions/teases, rather than any explanation.
Well, Q or no Q the case is beyond our judicial system for adjudication. SCOTUS was not created to settle political differences and lo and behold the democrats keep running to the federals courts facing questionable judicial review based on that courts political leaning.
There is no way somebody from the Obama administration is going to see the inside of a jail cell. The more serious crimes will be buried as decided by both parties just as Jeff Sessions has promised. Some fluff crimes with minor players for bread and circuses then it all disappears into history and will slowly become a myth and legend until eclipsed by the next outrageous government scandal.
Predicting a suicide is kinda suspiciously like predicting a murder.

Q is the biggest hoax ever to be perpetrated on Free Republic. Since this is a skeptical Q thread I hope attack threads against the poster are deleted.
Back during the primaries and election we would read daily someone saying: “Trump had better do ________ or I’m not going to vote for him”.

Well, bye. I don’t like Q specifically for prophecies.... Q’s genius is the subtle hint... take a look at this... take a look at that. Then people (autists) find things. Q talks about an offensive on big Pharma. Then the President’s daughter in law gets hit in the face by white powder. Everything has meaning. I feel I’m getting more reality now from Q than I could ever get from the drive bys, so what’s the problem?
What part of next week don’t you understand? You can’t just MAKE next week THIS week.

Q could be fake and get everything right. Q could be fake and get much or all of it wrong. Q could be real and still get things wrong. Q could be real and get most things right.

Guess what! It's also OK if someone else suspects something different from you. (Royal you.) Me, I don't know. Attributes of fake and attributes of real. Attributes of also maybe knowing some things but not others.
In addition to hating 'not knowing', and needing to be right, was it not Trump himself who pointed out that he sells by playing to people's hopes and imagination? At this point I would say the humble thing to declare is 'I don't know.' Whether he's fake or real or in between, I suspect some or much of his story resembles reality.
Many who insult the non-believers here would be an easy negotiating target for Trump because they see what they want to see. But many of the deniers are just negative nellies, like to put things down.
I’m poking around local news McLean, Springfield, Fairfax, and Chantilly all west of Washington DC. There has been in the last few days six house fires with some deaths.
This Q thing seems to be good in the sense that it has motivated an army of people to do research on a lot of stuff they normally wouldn’t bother with. And it has brought a lot of ‘connecting the dots’ type of exposure. And that’s great. But…. The logic of this Q person baffles me.
Why would someone of the ‘inner circle’ or ‘the intelligence community’ (as he is described) use cryptic intelligence type communications to get his message out? That alone blows half his cover if he wants to stay anonymous. The black-hat intelligence guys are well versed in this stuff also. Surely they would read and understand it before you and I would. And, the subject matter of his posts and predictions has to place him with certain people or groups at certain times to have gotten the info. I don’t think he is anonymous to those in the know. I think his job is to motivate people to get off their butts and research, discover, and spread the word of what a mess we are really in.
That’s my unsolicited thoughts. Think I’ll go back to lurking. J
Saying that, if anything happens I do not think it would happen until Thursday on so that there is not a lot of time to plan weekend protests.
If I were you, I’d ask the mods to change the headline to “This year - So Far, Nothing”
Or maybe “Last six months - So Far, Nothing”
