There are FAR more important things going on in the world today than your questionable English lessons.

Tell it to the Queen of England & the Brits - they might be the only ones who care.

“Hanged and hung were used interchangeably for hundreds of years, although over time the one from the irregular verb (hung) eventually became the more common one. Hanged retained its position when used to refer to death by hanging, possibly due to being favored by judges who were passing a sentence. However, both forms are commonly found, and both are commonly found used in either sense.”

QUOTE

An ancient tale describes our predicament. One night a dervish was passing a dry well when he heard a cry for help from below 'What is the matter?' he called down.

'I am a grammarian, and I have unfortunately fallen, due to my ignorance of the path, into this deep well, in which I am now all but immobilized,' responded the other.

'Hold, friend, and I'll fetch a ladder and rope,' said the dervish.

'One moment, please!' said the grammarian. 'Your grammer and diction are faulty; be good enough to amend them.'

'If that is so much more important than the essentials,' shouted the dervish, 'you had best stay where you are until I have learned to speak properly.'

And he went on his way."

END QUOTE

I read that 0bola appointed most of the FISA judges. Who appoints them? You’re sure Roberts did it?

Of course, constipated OCD types with their knickers in a wad would evidently rather join the grammarian in the dry well than focus on the fitting higher priorities.

Or maybe their RAD (attachment disorder) junk is soooo intensely jerking them around that they have little choice but to spew and rant about such trivia in order to feel significant, in control, special, splendid, educated, brilliant, etc.

I used to be that sort of correcting whiner.

Growing up has enabled my life to be more fun and peaceful and my blood pressure lower.

My understanding is that of course the President appoints judges, but for the FISA court, the Chief Justice appoints existing judges for that special duty.

So, my view is that Roberts specifically targeted Obama-appointed judges to serve on the FISA court.

The exception comes where hang means to put to death by hanging. The past tense and past participle of hang in this sense, and only in this sense, is hanged. ~grammarist.com

"Past tense, present tense or future tense, it is ALWAYS hanged." ~BBB333 post 39

also: Since the original poster you replied to (LionsGate, post 6) does not state one way or the other if the intended arrestees are meant to be hung (future) until death occurs, your reply may be doubly incorrect. They may only be meant to be hung and tortured.

to take this side discussion further off subject, two more notes:

"Hung refers to the size of a mans penis." ~BBB333 post 30

while technically accurate in common vulgarity, this statement is misleading as in the reader is led to conclude by the phrasing of the post that this the only time the term is accurate.

"Look at the bright side: you learned something today!" ~BBB333, post 39

No, but hopefully you have.

Since this has really gotten far afield of the thread topic, I do apologize to the OP and readers and vow this to be my last post on various conjugations of "hang".

BRAVO!
Now, please take on the “your”, “you’re” crowd.
They deserve to be hanged, IMHO.

I see; so there is no set of “FISA” judges per se, they are drawn from an existing pool of judges? Interesting. It appears that Roberts is a wholely owned enetity then.

Notice: The FISA court recognized Page as a Hostile Russian agent and didn't inform the president of the US that he might have a hostile Russian agent on his staff. Page was never arrested or apprehended for being a Hostile Russian agent.

The only part of the dossier that was true was that Page travelled to Russia. Now we learn that Page was an undercover FBI agent that actually helped them catch real Russian spies. This really is the gang that couldn’t shoot straight.

Absolutely. The common link between the two is Sam Clovis.

Clovis was a Perry guy before coming on board with Trump. During that time, he was big time anti-Trump.

Either Clovis was the issue or whomever hired and recommended Clovis.

When you look at Clovis and now, Raj Shah, you end up at Reince Priebus.

Not only that. But, on your own with tacit support from your boss, Sam, the same boss who brought Papadap on board, travel to Russia and talk up a big game and implicate Trump.

Papadap does the same thing after working for Hillary's campaign.

Both brought on board and working under Sam Clovis.

Clovis looks to me like the type who could be bought off cheap—or just a patsy.

I've seen it reported other places, but can't say they didn't use CT for their sourcing.

Mr Page wasn't the focus you have to look up the spy that he helped catch Evgeny Buryakov.
