One of my friends got hired as a caretaker for a man with dementia. All the other women has left because he liked to expose himself. I asked my friend about “it” and she said “They had a male horse but it died of shame”. We never knew his name so we called him “Mr Johnson”.
She said she got used to it but she would sometimes exclaim in shock because it made him happy. She loved for solicitors to come by. They’d be talking at the door and naked man carrying what appeared to be a fire hose would walk by. The reaction was priceless.
He said, she-she-she-she-she-she-she-she said.
Who ya gonna believe?
That'll be quite a trick!.
Thanks!
Yeah, in all seriousness my daughter is a nurse, and part of her training was preparing her to deal with elderly male patients who, thanks to dementia, may act out in inappropriate ways.
Exactly
If he’s suffering from dementia, this might be something he cannot control. If that’s the case, then either the medical professionals are unaware of his condition, or are aware and are out to make a buck. If it’s the latter, that’s despicable.
Didnt read it but I have experience with Alzheimers. If he has a touch of dementia, he has literally lost that ability to inhibit his actions or speech. It is not his fault. I hate GHW Bush but I give him the same credit. With dementia, they have lost their brain functioning. Therefore they should not be left alone with defenseless people, and all caregivers need to take this in stride or switch caregivers. It is not their fault.
“Hire him hookers to pose as nurses.”
My thought exactly. Hire people who would provide competent care, but also know in advance what he would try to do. Then no one has a beef.
Are they taking care of him or not?
That would definitely explain his actions (and GWB as well). If that’s the case, then those nurses really shouldn’t have gone to the media with this story.
Yeah that makes sense.
