Thanks nickcarraway. It's really too bad that her dad didn't just kill Harvey Weinstein, instead of merely threatening him.
BTW, I just love to make trouble -- Mira's Oscar that year was for her role in Woody Allen's "Mighty Aphrodite". Flame away!

As Harry Truman said, any father who has a daughter will understand.

She is an excellent actress. Always spot on.

Sorvino also had a short uncredited role in the 1993 movie “The Firm”.
He played Tommie Morolto, one of the heads of a Chicago crime family.
The role was short with very little speaking but he played the Mob Boss role perfectly.

Liberal, not progressive, as are many intellectual conservatives. That's why I qualified the assessment with "Rumored", most of those are inaccurate and ya must know the person to know the truth.
Mira's display of the Cross means more than the rumors, to me.

Well....you gotta admit...a few roadblocks have been cleared for him to make a public threat on Harvey.

He was also Worf’s adopted brother Nikolai on Deep Space 9.

. . . never take on an actor who plays Mob rules like he really knows . . . Mob rules?
First foll for fool over on that other thread and now rules for roles.
Geez, what are you drinking?

Glad someone else remembers him on L&O. The early years were the best ones.Detective Phil Ceretta. Yes, I like the early episodes very much. George Dzundza, Michael Moriarity, and Richard Brooks....
Sorvino left because he wanted to pursue opera.

She was playing a hooer in Harvey Weinstein film, and went up to his bedroom in a hotel. She’s no innocent babe in the woods here.
Plus she is a flaming leftist. Her actor daddy won’t do anything. He’s about as mafia as Tom Cruise was a fighter pilot.

Yeah... and don’t get into a dogfight with Tom Cruise. And don’t rustle cattle with John Wayne around.
LOL

This is as funny as all those people who were so let down to find out Bradley Cooper was standing behind Hillary. They seemed amazed that a SEAL would do that.
Sorvino won’t do nothin’

I know.
Trying to rush these comments in while running my financial practice and a nice lacrosse website at the same time . . . :)
Well, I can always fall back on the old liberal position . . . it’s the thought that counts . . .
Or I could lie and say I was going for the new lingo . . . FOOL Rules . . . FOLL Rules . . . FOOL Roles . . . FOLL Roles
Something will work

All of those were really good characters.
Robinette later did a sadly short-lived series called GvsE. He was a lite-Shaft type guy driving an orange Volvo.

I was an avid L&O watcher until late Curtis era.
Jerry Orbach was usually the best on any episode.
