Weinstein seems like a good guy and he was brave for standing up to the SJW madness at Evergreen. However he is still very much a man of the left. In that respect he strikes me as a bit naive; how he couldn't see that the toxic combination of postmodernism and cultural Marxism would unleash the monsters it did is bewildering. He seems to be of the opinion that Leftism is still the best approach, it's just that it somehow got corrupted and misrepresented at Evergreen. I will never understand how otherwise intelligent people cannot see the fatal outcomes that extreme leftism leads to time and again.
