The NFL self-destruction goes way beyond national television ratings and tickets sales.

ESPN is shutting down secondary radio stations, and on top of the national advertisers who are losing sales, local radio that carries NFL (like WMAL here in DC) have to be getting killed and their local advertisers along w/ them. Then there’s the licensing business, which can’t be doing well, and subsidiary game-day downstream chains like stadium vendors and services and tail-gait suppliers (7-Eleven, grocery) have to be feeling the downturn, as well.

As mentioned by another poster here, every percentage loss in revenue translates exponentially into profits. They’re all getting their asses kicked — all because of a lie.
