I made it from Bergton to Fairfax Station in an hour and ten minutes back in the 80’s via those. Probably close to impossible now...

My prior 5 Saturns and current Silverado Z71 beg to differ...

My wife has a Subaru B-9 Tribeca, it has about 260HP stock...it can pass cars easily.

Automotive News, the leading trade publication covering the auto industry, called for banning the Demon from the street in an editorial last April.

The car “is so inherently dangerous to the common safety of motorists that its registration as a road-worthy automobile should be banned,” it wrote, citing its “barely legal” tires and massive acceleration.

...

Oh please. That’s free advertising.

You’re kidding about the Saturns, right? Isn’t that the worst car made in the U.S. in the last 40 years?

That’s not FR user Autonomous’ car. He’s copied and pasted from a website/thread of a guy whose car burned.

The Forester is the least powered car I’ve had for a while. It has the same engine as the Impreza.

I’m looking at an early 2010’s Lincoln MKZ just to get enough power for AWD but if I find a G37X, i’m taking that deal. 320HP in a standard sedan is plenty

And if you’re alive in the next 10 to 20 years, you’ll see a bunch of them at collector car auctions like Mecum and Barrett-Jackson and the average Demon on the block will have between 25 and 750 miles on the odo.

Wasn’t it called Superbee? I’m too lazy to look it up.
***********
Yes because it was a “B” chassis (Coronet et al) car with a “B” (or RB or hemi) motor...

My wife now has a Prius that I love, it has about the same performance as the trucks but at a much lower cost of ownership.

And no doubt one of the few not emblazoned with Obama-Hillary logos and lefty slogan stickers?

All things must pass....my 2011 Mustang was a big boy for a while. Coyote made me say silly things while passing other vehicles. Ooooh....a Hemi. How CUTE!

I might just have to rev a couple times next to one of these new ones. Get him squirrely off the line and hit a tree.

All while I casually start accelerating in 2nd.

415HP....used to be so much POWAH.
