“proven guilty” requires a trial. There will be no trial. But the allegations are persistent enough that its obvious the guy is a creep.

“loses his career and goes to jail”??? Please tell me what man has “lost his career or gone to jail” because of an advance. And I’m not talking about making a pass at someone. Physically restraining someone or whipping it out and jerking off in front of someone is not “making an advance”.

So you’re defending Harvey Weinstein? And Louis CK? And Kevin Spacey?

If they aren’t man enough to actually marry the women with whom they have conceived said children, then I would argue they have no rights at all.

Why is C) Marrying her — not on the list?

Was this purely “recreational” sex that resulted in the conception of a child? Does he despise the woman so much he’d never think of marrying her and raising the child with her?

The right of fathers to protect their daughters and sons between conception and birth arises from nature, not from a government document.

What does that mean exactly? If some bum knocked up my daughter (a theoretical situation), and walked away... sorry. He has no “rights” to anything.

Of course not, but everyone has a right to due process.

Due process? What due process? Especially if no charges are filed?

You're kidding right!? What kind of crazy person marries someone they don't love and may barely know from a one night stand? Yes, by all means the father or mother, depending on whom the child lives with, should pay child support and if possible; be in the childs life if they can but marriage just because of a baby!!? No way. That kind of loveless marriage would be terrible for the parents and all children involved. They might as well just be house mates living in different bedrooms having separate lives outside the home seeing other people. It makes no sense at all.

Just my humble opinion.

So you are saying gossip is good enough? No proof is needed? I can say all kinds of bad things about you then your life is all but ruined even if none of those things are true?

That's a terrible way to live and a terrible precedent. I can understand when there's overwhelming cases like with Weinstein and Spacey but other than that some kind of process should happen so people don't get railroaded by gossip or just some crazy mean-spirited person like those women who cry rape or assault but were never touched. They made it all up.

I think if someone lies like that about someone; they should do the same amount of time in jail the person would have gotten if it were true and proven. It should be that level of a crime IMHO.

we do have this presumption of innocence until proven guilty that everyone is willing to ignore lately.

In criminal justice.

There is no reason a company needs to keep a perv on staff if there are allegations of impropriety. Many businesses including entertainment still have morality clauses or even just the ability to fire anyone from the project for any reason.

By that same reasoning, so is Moore.

Not that I believe all of the allegations against Moore, but we are living in the information age, when anyone can post an allegation against someone. There has to be some standard way of determining guilt, and our founding fathers had it right.

In criminal justice.

We are talking about crimes here, if any of these allegations are true. What happened to due process?

I have no doubt that much of this is true, and I'm all in favor of getting to the truth of these crimes and punishing those guilty, but guilty until proven innocent has always been a dangerous proposition that has ruined many lives.

“They were the Adam and Eve of the future. (that is why Saturday Night Live had to have them kiss....or not).”

Seriously? If women are ‘Adam’ and ‘Eve’... hmmm, let’s see now ... how is there a future? ... that’s right, there isn’t!

Therefore, what good is a kiss between two women?

No, they had to have them kiss to push their agenda, we all know that, so come on and stop kidding around about such evil, filthy rot.

I don’t believe she had directly accused him of anything regarding his treatment of herself. She has simply said she won’t work with him again because he has been accused by others of bad behavior.

Folks really should Read the articles posted before commenting

Because it doesn't matter if he's married to her. A wife can choose to abort her child, and the husband, under US law, has absolutely no say in the matter.

A wife can put their baby up for adoption, with the husband only getting the baby back after a long legal battle, and with no consequences for the wife.

A wife can decide she doesn't want to take care of the kids, file for divorce, and give the husband a choice of taking custody, or her asking for financially-crippling child support payments. And if she uses those child-support payments for partying instead of the kids, he has no say.

The fundamental incongruity of modern society is fathers having legal responsibilities without legal rights.

What process do you propose? You can’t just complain about it without proposing a remedy.

Here’s my opinion for whatever its worth. If one woman accuses someone.... i’m dubious. If 2, 3, 5, 10 accuse? Well usually if there is smoke there is fire.
