If Central Asia permits people to hunt and possess these animal parts, shouldn’t the push be there to outlaw it?
I think it’s only legal to hunt in Tajikistan. Is that where he was?
A damned moron.
.
did it have a name?
You can’ say that he musslman.
Probably. He hunts Marco Polo sheep there and has won some hunting awards shooting those.
Chances are pretty high that he was actually hunting the sheep when he got the Snow leapard.
Anyone that would want to kill an endangered animal like that has a twisted dark side. Something is not right with them. They’re absolutely creepy to me.
Such a gorgeous aloof creature. This guy is a total ass.
“... has a twisted dark side...”
I understand hunting. I don’t understand this... he kills an endangered animal for what? A picture? He can’t legally bring home the fur or have the animal stuffed. I assume he didn’t eat it. Thus, it seems to me just the joy of killing. So, yes... the joy of killing is twisted and dark.
"This ... hunter ... must be made an example of or these magnificent cats will vanish forever."
Is this one guy going to kill all 3,500 to 7,000 of them? This wouldn't be gross overstatement, hyperbole, or hysteria, would it?
If he broke the law, prosecute him. If not, shut up. You don't own the world, jackholes.
I have no problems with hunting either.
As a Christian, we’re told to be good steward’s of God’s creation. Killing an endangered species just for the joy of it is bizarre to me.
This jerk is so selfish that he has little concern for future generations and them being able to appreciate all of God’s magnificent creation.
Exactly!
Beautifully stated! :)
Words can not express my anger at the murder of such an beautiful animal.

I also have a difficult time gathering words for such twisted behavior.
I love watching wildlife videos. Leopards are my favorite animals to watch. They’re just unbelievable animals. Anf footage of snow leopards is so very rare.
They aren't endangered, they're "vulnerable". Not the same thing.
Years ... well, decades ago, one of the sporting magazines wrote a piece about a ‘sport’ fisherman who had just caught the last fish in a lake, and the last of its species ... he was quite proud, many pictures ... big spread in the magazine ... many congratulated him on his persistence and fishing acumen ... magazine gave him an award ...
There are wounds on the left rump. I wonder if he shot while it was running away or he shot to maim then kill. Whatajerk.
