I had one on my butt last week but I-never saw it
;)
These are frightening viruses, and are easily transmitted and many have a high mortality rate. And sometimes a strain will become "airborne," which means that no physical contact is necessary for infection. "Ebola Reston" (named for an outbreak in Reston, VA) went airborne, but thankfully, while nearly 100% fatal in apes, only caused flu-like symptoms in humans.
The book, "The Hot Zone" reads like fiction, but it's based on true events, including the Reston, VA outbreak!
