I as well. The nation would like a Dodgers/Yankees WS, but
Indians/Dodgers or Astros/Nationals would be fine with me.
I won’t mind a Red Sox/Cubs WS either.

My Cubs stole Tribe thunder last year. Indians are best this year. Close seconds: Houston, Nationals. D-backs sizzled for a while, but have lost it just a bit. Dodgers....naaah, not anymore.

You're not fussy and although I'm a Yankee's' fan, I'll actually take any match up too.
It's a loooong time until pitchers and catchers report in February (made even longer by not watching any NFL).

If the Indians get past the best-of-5 I think they win it. Pitching staff is incredibly deep and offense potent. All bets are off in the best of 5. Kluber loses the opener it gets scary.

LOL...we just saw the Astros play the Red Sox, in Boston.
Great game, great crowd. We really enjoyed the city, Fenway/Big Green Monster, the people (EVERYONE asked us about Houston/Harvey/flooding) and, especially, all of the great historical sites.

Though with extended playoffs nowadays, the off season is shorter than in the past. The world series will end on November 1st if it goes the full 7 games. Barely 3 1/2 months later is when pitchers and catchers report.

The Dodgers limped into the last week of the season. If the series was played in July they would have won...now...not so much. I don't think they get past the Nationals in the NLCS.
The Nats didn't exactly look like giant killers in the last week either but Dusty Baker was resting his guys and letting the kids play.

I have no idea who will win, but I’d bet serious money on Dusty Baker, yet again, failing to close the deal in the post-season.
Lurking the path of the Nats is a manager who will manage rings around Dusty. Just ask Mike Sciosia, Jim Leyland and Bruce Bochy.

Do you have insider info that the Yankees are picking up Otani?
