Not as crazy as it sounds. We were designed eons ago when bathing was rare. Bathing takes protective oils off our skin. If you do not bath often you will stink but your skin will look great. That is just the way it is.

I bath often as I do not want to stink.

Years ago I got on a standing room only tram in Europe. Those people standing were holding onto a strap above them, exposing their underarm. The smell made me get off at the next stop.

Do European women shave their underarms now? They didn’t in the 70s. Didn’t shave their legs, either. It was funny, but not appealing, to see half inch long dark hair sticking through stockings.

As for the eternally youthful old lady in this article: She looks every bit of 76 years old.

The trick to surviving a situation like that is to breathe through your mouth, not the nose.
