Thank you, explained it well.
You know they often slow down or stop races when it rains.
Every other example has safety rules and stop events when conditions get too unsafe.
If they would race while the hurricane is coming in and people died from it, they would deserve stupidity shaming too. And they would, probably get sued.
They don”t stop skiing when it snows, and they don’y stop surfing when the surf is up.
(performed, ironically, by "The Lively Ones")
They dont ski when avalanche conditions are high. They will close those runs.
Hold my beer, Bajan, and watch this!
The kid was a pro surfer. Surf was up, therefore he was surfing, all pedantry aside. When the swell from Irma hits on the Outer Banks of NC, they’ll be coming in from all over the eastern seaboard and even midwest to do the very same thing. If you want to make jokes about somebody’s kid dying in Barbados while surfing, you just go right ahead but understand it makes you look like a total @hole.
Sad. RIP.
I remember the early illusions of immortality - fortunately, I was also a bit of a skeptic...
I didn’t make any joke.
You can apologize now.
Well, then, my apologies. You don't look like a total @hole, lol.
