Why do I suspect it didn’t transpire quite like the story tells it?

Spencer is an idiot.
It's tough to put a good spin on:
Incredible moment for white people who've had it up to here & aren't going to take it anymore. Tomorrow we #Unitethe Right #Charlottesville.
Half the time, I can support what Spencer says, the other half, I want nothing to do with him. He sometimes does the right things or argues the right points, but for the wrong reasons. There is a big price tag for his friendship.
