Thanks for the nightmare fuel.... You have filled my tank for the next few years....
I had a pet raccoon when I was a kid. Raised him from a kit, he was a real handful always getting into trouble. Those little fingers could open anything and would. When he got older he became too much too handle and I had to give him to a shelter that took in critters like him. Of course this was back when rabies was not even heard of in our state. Used to take him to the beach and get a kick at his antics playing in the sand and fighting with the crabs.
lol win win win- don’t have to paint hte porch every couple of years now
Holy. Not the way I’d’ve ever wanted to end this conversation, but since we apparently both admired the guy, I thought I’d tell you this despite your kiss off:
Don Baylor just died. At 68. Of Myeloma. :-(
Oops. Wrong thread.
Breaking news: the previously-referenced raccoon decided to check out the neighbor’s plums...unfortunately for him, the plums were inside a ‘Have a Heart’ trap. As John McLaughlin used to say, ‘Buh-bye!’ Enjoy your road trip, you little SOB.
Moral of the story - don’t play with coon poop.
I’m taking care of a half-grown coon right now. She was less than a week old when her chicken thief momma caught a bad case of lead poisoning one night.
That’s only one reason I am the way I am. ;^P
