If he had grabbed a boy’s buttocks they would be running him for governor of Massachusetts.

Since he is now out of the show, maybe they can bring in one of the Duke “cousins” to fill his place as they did when the actor’s strike hit Dukes of Hazzard years ago.
Anyone remember that?

The Wopat arrest is an example of Police Profiling as the General Lee must stick out like a sore thumb in Waltham, Massachusetts.
To: apillar
The news reported that Wopat fled the scene in a orange Dodge Charger and managed to evade capture by jumping over a stream that, oddly enough, had a vehicle ramp placed just in front of it at a perfect angle. Miraculously, the Charger appeared completely undamaged, though three police cruisers were destroyed in the chase.

Boss Hogg and Rosco always suspected that the Duke boys were running cocaine up north and selling at Yankee high schools.
To: apillar
“Last Saturday, the woman told police she was at rehearsal at the high school on July 23, when he walked behind her and grabbed her buttocks.”
It was Cooter who taught the Duke boys how to check her oil.

The Waltham District Attorney later said all charges would be dropped after Wopat evaded a high speed pursuit and crossed the county line. The DA was quoted as saying, “Everybody knows that’s the rules, you flee from the police and cross the county line, we have to drop all charges.”

Running meth up north in the General Lee would have been far too obvious.
