“Authorities are looking into how marijuana worth $1 million was hidden in the trunks of brand new, Mexican-made Ford Fusions at a dealership in Ohio”
why on earth would the dealership in Ohio hide $1 million of pot in the their Mexican-made Ford Fusions?
I think of Oprah Winfrey yelling at her audience, saying
“You’re gonna get high!, and YOU’RE gonna get high! and YOU’RE gonna get high!
Cheech and Chong been driving the car.......
tell me where was it filled up?
Had to have been done at the factory. They load the cars up there, and put them in train cars without side access. No decent access to the trunks between the loading and unloading in the US. Once they’d been put on a truck for final delivery, it wouldn’t take any effort to unload them at a truckstop along the way. Except, for some reason, that step never occurred, and they made it all the way to the dealer. No telling how many were unloaded along the way.
If the link works, you can easily see the loading yard just east of the factory, and just north of the main storage lot southeast of the plant. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Ford+Hermosillo+Stamping+%26+Assembly+Plant/@29.0148115,-110.9136909,676m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x62298de441b66ad9!8m2!3d29.013138!4d-110.9163887
Those are really cool “spare tires”, “Cheech and Chong Brand”, no doubt.
I doubt it. They probably got cold before it could be retrieved or were tipped off of a possible raid, or someone spooked them etc...It’s even possible it was sent a location or transfer point they were not expecting.
It’s grown by the ton, so I don’t think a few pounds means much to big players. Besides, the Mexican pot import market is dying. It’s too much trouble and most people prefer products made in America.
