Calling oneself a catholic does not make a catholic. Going thru the motions from catechism to rituals does not either.....it only makes you a member of the organization by complying with their tests and teachings. No different than a Mason going through their rank and file to 'belong' to their organization. Anyone can clai so....it does not make one an active memeber
