20,000,000 People--Kate Smith (1933)
We’ve got movie sign!!!!
You will love The Godfather. Who likes the mafia? No one. There is no doubt the movie romanticizes the Mafia, but really it is more about the family and a slice of life. If anything watch the first 20/30 minutes....mesmerizing.
Is Young Frankenstein on anybody’s list? I didn’t spot it.
It insists upon itself.
Oh indeed

Caddyshack may very well survive the test of time. I’ll watch it next time I get a chance when I don’t have to pay more for it.
I was thinking the same thing. I am not a big fan of comedy since it isn’t easy to make a good one. Most comedies are at best just OK. But I love YF. I watch it once a year and never tire of it. “What hump?”
The movie was about Michael. Brando’s character was a sideshow and Brando was the joke with that cotton stuffed in his mouth reading off the cue cards.
Some friends of mine were big Dodger fans back in the 1970s. Marty Feldman sometimes sat right behind them, they said he was just as funny in real life.
Thanks for letting us know the mafia is evil (rolling the eyes). The movie does show that, but it is a movie and regardless will be in the top three of any list. I have never run into anyone who visualizes themselves as the Godfather. Exactly where did you grow up that everyone you know visualizes themselves as the Godfather? I’m sorry you take it so personally.

It certainly is,but the movie is still terrific.
.
That's how the mafia needed to be depicted.
Yes, a *great* film.
Also like another film about Welsh society, The Corn is Green, with Bette Davis. “Cutting edge” for the day, dealing with premarital sex and illegitimacy.
