Same size cartridge case, but is the the Finnish/Scandanavian designation for the old Czarist cartridge. It's also frequently used to differentiate Russian Czarist/Soviet/Russian federation ammunition loaded with *D-bullets* of .310-.312 diameter, as opposed to the pre-WWII Finnish 7,62x53r loading for the superb M28-30 target rifle, which had a .3085 diameter bore, and nicely took Swiss .308 diameter spitzer point boattail bullets...or now, US .308 commercial match and hunting bullets. The Finnish Lapua and Swedish Norma loadings are also usually, but not always, found in brass reloadable cartridge cases, unlike the Soviet/Russian-produced steel cases.
