I’m with them on this
Smoking should at least be allowed in bars
Or let restaurants create smoking sections that are in different rooms
My son has adult asthma and it doesn’t bother him
You could always just go to smoke free restaurants
You have to be responsible for your own health to a degree
Dander
Living near a feather pillow plant
Or a gypsum mine or cement plant
And so forth
There will be folks to accommodate you but forced universal accommodation infringes on others as well
And it grows and grows and grows
You can’t smoke in a park
You can’t smoke less than 25 feet from the door
You have to walk off a 200 acre hospital to smoke
Or campus
You can smoke weed in most Boulder hotels but not cigarettes
It’s gotten crazy
We cannot create a world to accommodate breathing issues for everyone
At some point you have to just not go there
Say a basement pool hall with smoking and poor ventilation like Melrose was in Nashville...,I didn’t like it either
That’s how I see it
I feel for you but you have to endure your situation more than the world has to bend
That’s the harsh end of a free culture
Today at 60 I’d avoid places too smokey myself and I too have maladies
I wish I had run of the mill asthma instead trust me
But I don’t expect kids who smoke to give up their fun to accommodate old grumpy me
We used to have common sense
Thankfully I haven’t been to either of those yet this year.
These idiots think they are exempt from the lunacy they always support.
And the non-smoking passengers on the plane unfondly remember breathing your smoke and then having to take their clothes to the cleaner.
I recall being in Malpensa, the big airport outside Milan. “No Smoking” signs all over, smoking all over too. LOL. The authorities seemed to have a decent sense of restraint about it all, they’d see it, signal “no no,” and that was the extent of enforcement activity.
So you are okay with the establishment of two separate classes of people: Those that have to follow the government’s laws and those that don’t? None of these people would go against the politicians who started these laws, but then they don’t have to abide by those laws. It’s the same thing as Climate Change. Those laws and restrictions are only meant to apply to the “unimportant” people?
No, you won't. Smokers, as a group, have demonstrated beyond a shred of doubt that they utterly lack self control. To a smoker, the whole world is an ashtray ... you can't get away from them. They demonstrated the maxim that if you won't police yourself, you will be policed ... and you won't like it.
Oh, I was once in Paris and a girl sat right under the No Smoking sign, puffing away. I wanted to high-five her.
I didn’t say anything like that, you humorless person you.
Horror movie?
Burbank, CA. No smoking outdoors (downtown)! Hahahah. Ha. Pretty good compliance though, from what I gathered on observation of others, plus dagger stares.
And the bag ladies?
And who knows what this is:

Drunks have caused more death destruction and heartbreak than smokers ever have or ever will. Where’s th8e uproar?
