Any state can and should facilitate this type of thing.

The FEDS cannot do any of it legally. It is not an enumerated power of the federal government so is illegal under the tenth amendment for it to get involved in that. Therefore REPEAL Obamacare totally.

Look up things I have recently poster for other similar suggestions. Predictable virtually universal expenses should be born by each individual — they need not be insured with multiple strings attached. If some people need help from the government then STATES can address that issue.

For every Fed program cut, taxes should be cut by that amount precisely with an admonition attached to the tax that the program can be continue by the people of the respective states if they really want. Meals on Wheels and School Lunches come to mind as issues that will be moaned and griped about. Make sure there are tax cuts from all the tax sources that support any programs cut and that that is ADVERTISED as now available to We the People of the several states if we care to divert those newly available dollars to a state version of the old Fed program.

I think if they repeal Obamacare and create a US Market that states can opt into that states will opt into it when they see the results of other states.

In fact, I would repeal Obamacare and say we are sending it back to the states, states may continue with Obamacare if they want at the state level.

any time the customer does not pay cash at the time service is rendered, a receivable clerk will drive costs up. The more difficulty a provider finds getting paid the higher the cost. The more the customer is removed from the purchasing decision the less of a market driven system is created with the result being higher over all costs. There is a hospital in middle America (Kansas?) that only takes cash, has posted its prices online since 2008, and costs under 40% of the insurance based model. instead of 50k for a knee replacement plus more for rehab and other maintenances costs, they cost 18k and that includes flight to them, hotel space for a week after surgery, and rehab in your city. If you build up your HSA balance and pay out of pocket you recover all but the deductible.

The burden for the doctors didn’t come from the patients. The patients were overjoyed in getting the discount from the doc to insure their repeat business. It was beneficial to all.

But with the standards being demanded by the government in actions and product that can, most likely, never be reached, the medical practitioners are forced to protect themselves with their own insurance that is going to cost the consumer.

And the government’s best con is the determination that an HMO, which is defined as a health maintenance organization, is being turned into an all encompassing health recovery plan for everything from the common cold to catastrophic needs.

And I’m sure you noticed that as soon as the feds got a firm determination with this, using the media to mislead the citizens, they jumped in with a government health plan to rule it like a kingdom and force more money into their pockets besides dividing up their voters into trapped creatures to be caged and further trained.

It’s taken them 70 years to get to this point. There’s a tiny chance congress with stand tall and stop it. But in my mind they won’t because they don’t have the spine for it since they know the media is going to try to single them out, surround them, and make life miserable for them in the papers. And instead of joining into a force to slap each attempt right back in the media’s and some political prostitute’s face that the libs get to make the accusaion, the conservatives run and hide or try to BS their way out of it. So that’s why they want to modify it, not stop it.

This is a war the politicians are fighting. And only the libs look at it that way. So until the conservatives return fire, they are outrun and outgunned. Just all it requires is the truth. And history tells us you won’t get it from the libs. And the citizenship is stupid and buys it. Look who they almost elected this year: a lying, self-centered, idiot that lets people die and helps evil people get power to do some more killing. This sound intelligent to you? Not me.
