Beautiful pics. I have to get back out to Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge, as soon as they repair the 100’ breach in the trail. I’ve been waiting since Hurricane Sandy to get back out there, but there has been considerable dawdling to repair the trail, as well as a lot of the homes damaged by the storm.

This was the most recent Birdy thread I could find. Finally found a hosting site that is free and fast. Took this picture a few hours ago, male pileated at our suet,. They are regular visitors but very shy and we are always lucky to get a picture.
