She has anger issues.

It goes with the breed. They need to tattoo warning labels on them at birth. Like pit bulls, it's not 'if', but 'when' they gonna go off.

“It goes with the breed.”

Not ALL black people or even black women have these issues.

You can’t tell such things by skin color.

Plus, plenty of non-black people have similar anger issues.

And, conservatives consider people to be responsible for their own actions. We don’t blame skin color. It’s no excuse.

We need to welcome conservative blacks into the fold. Allowing the left to exploit blacks has both destroyed black families and harmed the conservative cause.

We can probably make some educated guesses based on her behavior rather than her skin color. Probably a Democrat.

Being born black does not mean being born a Democrat or liberal. But identifying with the black counterculture does.

That is a choice, not an intrinsic trait.

The breed I was referring to is Angry Black Women, especially big ones. I wasn’t referring to all black women or all anything.

Thanks, though.

I always remember when doing a little sociology a description of a certain kind of person with a crowd. This especially when they are collectively annoyed. Ok, they may have reason to. Herewith:

The person on the edge of the crowd.

This being a quiet well thought out appraisal of the situation. They do not mean to offend the crowd, but plead for those around them to take a little time. The calming influence using fairness.

I hope to be excused this little homily. I am impressed that there are divergent views. Necessary to keep a sort of balance. on this excellent web site. Agree to disagree and so on.

Went and took on a BT-1000 terminator. (As Tommy Sotomayor dubbed angry black women.)

“I am impressed that there are divergent views. Necessary to keep a sort of balance. on this excellent web site. Agree to disagree and so on.”

Sometimes a disagreement is one of semantics, linguistics, and the seven levels of communication which often cloud conversations that are purely text. It is often difficult to read someone’s tone in an online post.

We must distinguish between racial comments and racists ones. Talking about race is not only ok, it is important. I think it is even ok and healthy to be able to poke fun of certain common trends related to “race” as long as such humor is not hateful, insulting, dishonest, or derisive. Such humor works best when poking fun of ourselves.

I responded to Migraine’s comments because they could be reasonably construed as directed toward race, when using the term “breed”. Migraine has clarified that this was not the intent. It might be said of those who listen, consider the opinions of others, and are open to being corrected, that they are a rare “breed”.

If I see something that is overtly racist and bigoted on FR, I will hit the abuse button. This is extremely rare on FR, as it usually comes from new accounts that are obviously trolling, and they get removed right away.

But if a post merely has the possibility of being perceived that way, I usually respond for the record. My reason is that I want visitors (as well as members) to be well aware that FR is NOT a website whose members are racists.

It is against the policy to post racist comments. I do not want liberals to point at us and say that FR allows racist comments to remain, or claim that such posts actually reflect our conservative beliefs and values. And it is a matter of perception sometimes.

A lot of people think racial comments of people like Michael Berry, a conservative radio talk show host and former Houston City Council member, are racist. He may openly talk about blacks committing a disproportionate amount of violent crimes. But Berry is not a racist. He also happens to be the adoptive parent of two black boys, if memory serves me correctly.

So sometimes prejudice can take the form of misconstruing someone else’s actions or words as racist even when they are not. Conservatives and evangelical Christians have to deal with this kind of prejudice all of the time. There are those who are convinced we are racists even when we are far from it. And then there are those liberals who know very well that we are not racists and still hurl such nasty accusations at us anyway because they are liars.

My objective in my response here was to insure that if a black conservative or a black person who is considering conservatism comes to this site to see what we believe, he will not be misled into confirming the biases he got from the media narrative.

I think it is great that we can laugh at humor when an angry black woman gets angry and attacks some Spanish-speaking onlookers who recorded the situation with their phone cameras. The scene would have looked a bit different if the woman was a white redneck, and the onlookers were Chinese Americans. And they probably would have acted a bit different for cultural and ethnic reasons. And it would have been just as funny.
