The Most (And Least) Worthwhile College Degrees

Good analysis.

I have two in college right now. One is an engineering student who, as a junior has already gotten a job and is working in his field. Whether he stays there post-graduation I don’t know but he’s in a great position.

The other has an associates degree in English and is working toward a certificate in copy editing/proofreading. Once she gets that, she’ll continue with her BS in Literature. She’s paying her own way for the most part and is attending an online school.

My oldest is working full time and the youngest is exploring which skilled trade he wants to pursue.

America needs skilled tradesmen badly so he should be sitting OK when he chooses which one he wants.

Or they lumped STEM/medicine together to get equal ratios of men and women.
