“I would have to guess that a large number of CRTV subscribers signed up primarily, if not exclusively because Steyn was part of it.”

Yea, perhaps a BAIT AND SWITCH by Levin. I went to their site and they wanted $100/year, so I said no thanks. Likely same with many others.

Looks like a bait and switch. Sounds like a bait and switch. Smells like..

I wonder what it could be?

Levin TV should fire...LEVIN.
I can't stand that globalist douchebag (and neither could his wife). What kind of an ignorant moron would even subscribe to his eponymous TV network?

This may well have entirely to do with money. Steyn is a big name among conservatives, and landing him was quite a coup for Levin’s TV project. It probably cost them a pretty penny. And if you scan Steyn’s filing, you’ll see mention of a dozen employees (all with health insurance) at his custom-built studio in Vermont. That’s a huge expense for what is essentially a glorified podcast. And if the network isn’t attracting much of a paying audience . . .

absent any contrary information,
Levin just made a HUGE mistake letting Styne go..
Styne is one of the best writers, commentators in America (or Canada)

What’s teh backstory here? Does anyone know why Steyn was fired from CRTV?

Disappointing, to say the least. I like Levin and I love Michelle Malkin — one of my favorites — and I also love Steyn.

I can’t help but wonder what happened.

Hannity gave him that nickname.

Levin has been an easily-identifiable controlled opposition figure from the moment he entered the national scene.

The easy red flag to spot was that he kept pronouncing himself a defender of the Constitution while relentlessly bashing Ron Paul, the one guy we had in the federal government who took the Constitution seriously.

> Mark Levin is a national treasure and he should be applauded for all his contributions to the conservative cause as an author, as an active litigator, as a public servant in the Reagan Administration, as a crusader for the impeachment of Bill Clinton, as an early supporter of the Tea Party, as an innovator for conservatism, as a highly successful radio personality, and now, by all accounts, as a financial success in his television show. Above all, Levin is to be applauded for his clear eyed devotion to conservatism and courageous independent voice against the dangers of a cult of personality which threatens any movement if not opposed on behalf of eternal values.

As a person with a great appreciation for satire, let me say I loved this.

ML is all talk, no pun intended, and no effective action. The time for talk is over and has been for a long time. He built a huge following on his radio show and I was one of the followers from the days when he was only doing 2 hours on WABC and hadn't yet syndicated. Bought all of his and his father's crappy books and subscribed to his TV show until on the 3rd episode he endorsed Cruz and began ruthlessly trashing Trump. I immediately canceled and haven't listened to him since. Now he wants to be part of the main action again. No chance.

He vowed for months he would go to NV to campaign tirelessly against Harry Reid when Reid was running for re-election and opposed by Sharon Engle. Then, some dog got sick so that was ML's excuse to stay home and just yell over the airwaves. As I said, the time for action to save this country is upon us and ML is nothing but useless talk. FU ML. Thank God for President Trump.

If faced with the choice of Levin or Glenn Beck, I’d rather listen to a repeated loop of “My Pillow” advertisements.

ML is all talk, no pun intended, and no effective action.

Ask Dave Brat and other recently elected Republicans whether Levin's help was "effective."

Consider the the victories of Landmark Legal Foundation and its impact on the IRS matter.

Consider the millions of Americans who have become educated about the Constitution.

Ask the leaders of the Tea Party if Mark Levin's assistance was "effective."

Ask the leaders of the Article V movement if Levin has been "effective."

Ask his millions of listeners and more than 1 million readers if his efforts have been "effective."

Kindly advise another living private citizen who has done more, who has been more "effective."

“Great news for Mr. Steyn. Associating with that doofus Levin was seriously damaging his brand.”

I think he wants to replace Steyn with his buddy Dan Bongino. No disrepect to Dan but he cannot pull off a daily show of his own yet. His shows are very repetitive. Michelle Malkin I’m told only did a few shows. So CRTV is basically Levin TV once again. And after 3 hours of Levin who wants to hear a 4th hour and especially since they probably also heard from Rush, Sean, Savage or Ingraham earlier. Then you have Hannity also on Fox at night. There is only so much you can listen to and there is just no need for another hour of Levin TV every night. I wonder how Levin TV is really doing if he has to give away so many subscriptions and talk people into signing up for it every few minutes. I don’t think its as big of a hit as he thought it would be. I believe he also thought Trump was going to lose and this would catapult CR and the internet channel.

Oh, wait, Mark signed on a new guy named Steve Deace who trashed Trump and went insane when Cruz endorsed Trump instead of a Hillary presidency. Of course, Mark Levin would pick up this loser. What a disappointment Levin TV is.
