Eugene: “You have potato chips?”
Neegan girl: “ yes, they have a kettle and”
Eugene: “No thanks”.

I laughed out loud with that one. Eugene carrying his pickles around was hysterical too. This episode shows Eugene in a different light... for the first time, you can see his personality more. Not sure if he is drinking the kool aid or not. He was going to make the pills for the one drunk Neegan girl but decided against it when it came to Neegan. Of course, those two “wives” were the ones that chose to be a wife vs the drunk-sad girl that was forced to in order to save her Mother. Me-thinks it was a test simply because the two wives didn’t talk to Eugene with the other girl present. I’m not ready just yet to give up hope for Eugene. He isn’t brave or strong but perhaps he is “blending” in the community to assist Rick at a later point. Time will tell. FWIW... that d*mn Easy Street song is in my head again. I HATE that song!!

The deal that Negan gives them is actually pretty good in comparison to how we live today. You have to scavenge and then pay 50% of your take in exchange for some protection and order.

In reality, many of us pay upwards of 50-60% of our income to the government. We also have to pay mortgages and bills in an endless treadmill. We also have to put up with liberal zombies attacking us and rioting!

In Walking Dead, it actually may be a slightly better deal if you think about it.

I’m not sure how anyone didn’t like that episode. It was fantastic to see Eugene do what he does and manipulate people and be a smarty pants.

This was a strange episode. I assume they are setting the stage where either Eugene will do something to screw up the attack on Negan or Eugene is trolling Negan, setting him up. But if he was, why didn’t he agree to poison him? Oh and throwing that doctor into the fire - Ah! Brutal! If Rick gets revenge on this guy Negan it’s going to be epic. I just hope the writers don’t crap out and make it a quick death like they did with the cannibal but something stretched out, Negan is far too evil for a quick death. Maybe something really really horrific, like force him to listen to Hillary Clinton shriek one of her speeches. Yes I know I am a sick punk ha ha ha.
